In his role as Director Garden & Estate at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, Chris Strand is responsible for a century old historic garden, 100+ buildings, and 1,000 acres of natural and agricultural areas. A graduate of the Longwood Graduate Program, Chris has worked at several well-known botanical institutions including the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, Callaway Gardens in Georgia, and the Denver Botanic Gardens. Most recently, Chris has joined with Jeff Groff and Maggie Lidz to help curate an exhibition entitled Costumes of Downton Abbey.
