Virtual Floral Design | Holiday Centerpiece
Celebrate the holiday season with a floral arrangement full of luxuriously rich colors and festive blooms.
Ami Wilber helps you create a beautiful creation with step-by-step guidance and plenty of time to ask questions. Supplies are not included, and participants are encouraged to buy flowers and produce from a local farm, farmer’s market, or other locally sourced floral supplier. A materials list is included below should participants wish to follow along at home:
- 1 bunch seeded eucalyptus
- 1 bunch Carolina sapphire cypress
- 5 stems red tea roses
- 5 stems red hypericum
- 1-3 pomegranates
- 1 bunch magnolia leaves

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ami Wilber became the floral and event décor designer at Hillwood in November 2016. Ami has over twenty-five years of experience as a floral designer. She received a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Miami University of Ohio and a Master of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology, School for American Crafts. Prior to joining Hillwood, Ami created sculptures and exhibited her installations at galleries and public spaces in Washington, D.C.
'Tis the Sea-son at Hillwood draws inspiration from the special exhibition Fragile Beauty: Art of the Ocean with resplendent Christmas trees and holiday decorations throughout the estate.
