This is the second program in the Great Homes and Gardens lecture series.

Join plant and interior stylist, author, and artist Hilton Carter in this exciting presentation inspired by his two recent publications, Living Wild (2023) and The Propagation Handbook (2024). Hilton will walk the audience through some of his favorite places he’s plant styled, how he goes about his process, some of his favorite plants, and so much more. He will also share practical tips and tricks about the art of propagating houseplants, allowing you to grow your plant collection!

Hilton will be signing copies of his books following the lecture.

For Hilton Carter, it all started with one plant, a fiddle-leaf fig named Frank, to be exact. As he explains in his best-selling book Wild at Home: How to style and care for beautiful plants, his interest in plants started out as purely practical. Since then, he has written and photographed four other best sellers, Wild Interiors: Beautiful plants in beautiful spaces (April 2020), Wild Creations (April 2021), Living Wild (April 2023) and The Propagation Handbook (April 2024), partnered with Target on three collections Hilton Carter for Target, created a special with PBS titled Living Wild: Plant-spiration with Hilton Carter and released his Guide to Houseplants workshops, with the Magnolia Network. 

Hilton Carter is a plant/interior stylist, author, and artist. He has a loyal following on Instagram (@hiltoncarter), where he shares his knowledge of plant care and interior styling with the design and green loving community.
