Japanese-style Garden Month

Hillwood’s Japanese-style garden, designed by Shogo Myaida, is an artful blend of Japanese and American garden traditions. A reflection of Marjorie Post’s love of collecting decorative objects, this non-traditional Japanese garden is perfectly integrated into the space and personality of Hillwood.

Celebrate the magic of this garden this month through specialty tours, floral workshops, and festive performances.

In addition to programming, the celebration continues in Merriweather Café, with exclusive Japanese-inspired specials, and in the museum shop, with themed merchandise. Don't miss it!
