Fabergé in the Age of Progress

This program is the third part of the Fabergé Rediscovered Lecture Series. Theater seating is sold-out. Tickets are available for seating in the simulcast location.

Advancements in science, technology and the humanities in the nineteenth century changed Europeans' understanding of the world around them, and the designers at the firm of Fabergé found ways to incorporate those breakthroughs into their art objects. This talk will discuss how the search for Fabergé's sources of inspiration takes us back to the innovations and feats of ingenuity popular among the firm's contemporaries.
