Enjoy a spring evening at Hillwood with an engaging documentary! Tour Hillwood’s mansion, gardens, greenhouse, special exhibition On Time: Giving Form to the Fleeting at Hillwood, eat a delicious meal at Merriweather Café, and enjoy a film. This evening’s featured documentary is Keeper of Time (2022), directed by Michael Culyba and featuring exhibition-highlighted Antiquarian Horologist Brittany Nicole Cox.

Keeper of Time explores the astonishing and beautiful world of mechanical watchmaking while contemplating the theoretical and philosophical notions of time, aging and mortality. Along with interviews from cutting-edge scholars in the fields of theoretical physics, physiology and philosophy, Keeper of Time features the stories of four of the best independent watchmakers in the world—Philippe Dufour, Roger W. Smith, François-Paul Journe and Maximilian Büsser.
