Staff Participants

Alia Baker is a Maryland-based artisan working across a range of mediums. She began her practice during COVID after discovering Chinese knot-making and started creating woven bracelets with semi-precious stones. What began as a small project grew into a lasting passion, leading her to explore macramé and its intricate, decorative forms. She continues to develop new ways to incorporate stones, beads, and charms into her designs.

Angie Coulson is a visual artist based in Silver Spring, MD, working in both abstract and representational drawing and painting. She earned her B.A. from The Ohio State University, where she double majored in Art and World Economy & Business. Her work can be found on social media at @angiecoulsonart or on her website at www.angiecoulson.com.

Connor Beaty is a photographer from upstate New York whose creative path began unexpectedly. While studying business and international trade at the University at Buffalo, an introductory photography course shifted his direction. He discovered a deeper connection to visual storytelling and now uses his camera to express humor, vulnerability, and curiosity—feelings he finds easier to communicate through images than words.

Kosta Pribylov is a Russian painter and visual artist who works in security at Hillwood. He creates artwork on weekends and brings a world-building perspective to his practice. He holds a Master of Fine Arts and continues to develop imaginative, expressive visual work.
