About Valerie Sanson

"When wearing my jewelry, you simply can't have a bad day." 

Valerie Sanson's exuberantly unique design style evolved right in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Through attending haute couture fashion shows, reporting the latest trends to buyers, and fashion forecasting, Sanson developed heightened fashion and retail awareness. 

While attending markets scouting out new inventory for Lane Sanson, her previous gift shop, in the summer of 2003, Sanson found herself wandering through a gem and mineral show. Unable to resist, Sanson bought some stones to construct a necklace for herself. Shortly after, she launched her own jewelry line.
