Celebrate ocean optimism with a fun and enlightening evening of trivia at Hillwood! Tour the mansion, gardens, greenhouse, and special exhibition Fragile Beauty: Art of the Ocean, eat delicious pub-style snacks at Merriweather Café, and enjoy a summer evening at Hillwood with friends.

5:30-7 p.m. | Explore Hillwood  

• Stroll through Hillwood’s mansion, gardens, greenhouse, and the museum shop
• Celebrate the importance of coastal and oceanic environments by visiting Hillwood's newest exhibition Fragile Beauty: Art of the Ocean

5:30-8:30 p.m. | Merriweather Café and Merriweather To Go Open

• Enjoy pub-style bites and Hillwood fan-favorite menu options for purchase at the Merriweather Café and Merriweather To Go

7-8:30 p.m. | Trivia Contest

• Test your knowledge of ocean-themed moments in pop culture, inspiring oceanic conservation efforts, and artwork inspired by the Fragile Beauty: Art of the Ocean exhibition with our partners at New Columbia Pub Quiz. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening.

Reservations are by table, with each table seating up to 4 people per team. A team captain can purchase a table for their team of 1 to 4 people through the purchase link listed on the right side of this screen. In an effort to be environmentally conscious in line with the evening's theme, please note that all trivia questions will be submitted digitally through personal devices (smart phones, tablets, laptops, etc.). Please be sure that one or more team members brings an internet-accessible device to participate in the trivia contest.

The ticket price includes seats for a team of up to 4 people and access to Hillwood from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Food and beverages, including beer and wine, are available for purchase at the café.
