Marjorie Merriweather Post's Paris - Dacha
Be the first to explore the special exhibition in the Dacha. Associate Curator Megan Martinelli will be available 8-8:30 p.m. and 9-9:30 p.m. to answer questions.

 

Red Carpet - Visitor Center, 1st Floor
Walk the red carpet for a picture in front of the gorgeous step-and-repeat wall. Make sure to use #HillwoodMuseum and #HiFromHillwood when you share your picture on social media. 

 

Silent Auction - Visitor Center, 2nd Floor
Browse the fabulous selection of silent auction items in the visitor center conservatory. Please note: All bidding is online, so you can enjoy Hillwood while monitoring your bids from anywhere. 

 

Delicious Bites and Open Bar - Visitor Center, 1st and 2nd Floor
Dine on decadent bites both sweet and savory while enjoying an open bar. Try a delicious specialty cocktails—Kir Royale and French Laundry—and toast the evening.

Explore the CollectionMansion 
Explore nearly 20,000 objects from Hillwood's collection of Russian imperial art, French decorative art, and Marjorie Merriweather Post's personal collection of apparel, jewelry, and accessories. 

 

Dessert and Amusement C.W. Post
Join us from 8:30-10 p.m. in CW Post for amusement and entertainment with two mimes! Dessert and beverages will be available.

 

Music from Peter DiGiovanni Visitor Center, 1st and 2nd Floor
You will feel transported to Paris when you hear the accordionist, Peter DiGiovanni who will play in the visitor center from 7-9 p.m.

 

Music from Howard University Mansion, Pavilion
Enjoy a program from 7:30-8:15 p.m. and 8:45-9 p.m. featuring groundbreaking composers performed by musicians from the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Art's music department.

PARKING AND RIDESHARE

Parking is available on campus at Hillwood in the Visitor Center parking lot and rear parking lot. Upon arrival, you will be directed by security to the nearest available parking.

Uber, Lyft, and taxis will be directed to drop off and pick up in front of the mansion's motor court, directly in front of the Visitor Center Conservatory. 

CHECK-IN 

We encourage guests to check in upon their arrival. Our main check-in is located on the 1st floor of the Visitor Center along with coat check and our red carpet step-and-repeat. We will have a secondary check-in located outside the Visitor Center Conservatory on the 2nd floor for those arriving by taxi and rideshare.

Please note: the event is sold out and, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any walk-in guests. 

SUGGESTED ATTIRE

Cocktail attire.

Activities will take place all across Hillwood's campus and we hope you enjoy everything this event has to offer! Please take advantage of our coat check and dress for the weather. 

RESTROOMS

Please excuse our appearance as we refresh our restroom facilities in the Visitor Center. We added temporary restroom facilities outside the front door of the Visitor Center on the parking deck. Restrooms are also available in the mansion, dacha, and C.W. Post.
