About this object
The ground is turquoise-blue. The shape is that of an urn, with a flaring lip, two plain handles and a pedestal foot. Under the lip is a gilt vine scroll on turquoise-blue and within it on each side a medallion containing a profile head in white imitating an antique cameo on a red-brown ground, below this is a string of white beads in relief and then a white band with clusters of flowers in color joined by gilt ornaments. At the bottom of the body is a row of molded gilt leaves pointing upward. Topping the stem is a string of smaller white beads in relief.
