About this object
In center is the bust of Empress Elizabeth I (Elizaveta Petrovna) facing to the right. She wears a small crown and has pearls in her hair. Her dress is low cut and decorated with pear shaped pearls. Her cape is in ermine. Around the frame of the medallion is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew First Called. Badge at bottom is broken off. At top is the Russian imperial cleft crown with orb and laurel leaves at left, scepter in front and oak leaves at right.
