In addition to your security expertise, your exceptional customer service skills will be crucial in providing the gracious welcome that reflects the values of our founder, Marjorie Merriweather Post. With over 5 years of experience in security, you take pride in striking the right balance between ensuring people's safety and security while maintaining respectful interactions.

You must possess or be willing to obtain certification in CPR, Certified First Responder, and AED within 30 days. You value your professional development and seek an environment where you can collaborate with fellow security professionals who share your commitment.

Located in NW Washington D.C., Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens is a 25-acre campus with over one dozen separate buildings.   • Our most popular medical plan has an upfront deductible of $1,500 per year for single coverage and $3,000 per year for dependent/family coverage with a Health Savings Account (HSA) tied to the plan. 
    • Hillwood will contribute up to $1500 annually into your HSA if you elect single coverage or up to $3000 annually if you elect dependent/family coverage for the 2022 plan year prorated based on the effective month of your coverage.
    • Employee contribution rates for medical plans are based on the coverage level selected at the employee’s base annualized salary. Essentially, those with higher salaries pay more for their medical coverage. The maximum employee contribution is $170 per biweekly payroll, most employees pay much less for medical insurance. 
  • Retirement Savings Plan. Hillwood matches up to 3% with a discretionary match (up to 2% or more). The Hillwood contribution is 100% vested upon reaching three years of service.
  • Life and accidental death and dismemberment, short & long-term insurance at no cost to the employee.

This position is compensated at $22/hr. The schedule is: Wednesday-Sunday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. / 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. Please visit our website for more information on this and other career opportunities. 

Hillwood requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The most recent booster recommended by the CDC is the updated bivalent booster to be taken at least two months after the second primary series dose or last booster.
