Inventory Control Coordinator
Reports to: Head of Retail Operations and Shop Experience

Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year who enjoy our art collection and our gardens—and many of them take a piece of Hillwood home with them through our curated Museum Shop. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to manage the behind-the-scenes operations that keep our shop running smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role:
As Inventory Control Coordinator, you will support a dynamic retail operation by managing incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring our physical and digital shop offerings are up to date and well-organized. Your daily duties will include receiving and stickering merchandise, maintaining organized stockroom and storage areas, entering purchase orders, preparing online shipments, and leading the annual physical inventory.
Your ability to track data, identify discrepancies, coordinate with vendors, and support visual merchandising efforts will be essential to supporting Hillwood’s retail experience. You’ll be the in-house expert on our point-of-sale system and collaborate closely with the Head of Retail Operations, Museum Shop & Sales Manager, and Marketing team to ensure that our guests experience a seamless and inspiring retail environment—on-site and online.
As an experienced inventory professional, you know that successful shop operations rely on both systems and people. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that every item we carry—from Hillwood publications to jewelry, home décor, and seasonal favorites—makes it into the hands of our visitors with accuracy and care.

Our most popular medical plan has an upfront deductible of $1,650 per year for a single coverage and $3,300 per year for dependent/family coverage with a Health Savings Account (HSA) tied to the plan.

Hillwood will contribute up to $1,650 annually into your HSA if you elect single coverage or up to $3,300 annually if you elect dependent/family coverage for the 2025 plan year prorated based on the effective month of your coverage.

Employee contribution rates for medical plans are based on the coverage level selected at the employee’s base annualized salary. Essentially, those with higher salaries pay more for their medical coverage. The maximum employee contribution is $170 per biweekly payroll, most employees pay much less for medical insurance.

Retirement Savings Plan. Hillwood matches up to 5% of the employee contribution. The Hillwood contribution is 100% vested upon reaching three years of service.
