The Kuan Yin is dressed in a flowing robe with flowing sleeves. She is wearing a top knot that is surmounted by a large flower blossom. She holds a musical instrument like a guitar with both her hands. At her left side stands a long necked bird plucking some fruit with its beak. The coral base is carved to represent rocks. The wooden base is carved like roots of trees.
