About this object

The red coral bottle is shaped like an ovate rounded bottle with a thin ring foot. On one side is carved a woman walking to the right and carrying a cup aloft in her left hand. Her right hand and arm swing forward and the sleeve of her dress extends forward as well. She has an elaborate hair style. On the other side is a woman dancing and holding a fan or flower aloft with her right hand. Her left hand curves in front of her around her waist. She wears flowing robes. The rounded cover is also red coral and is surrounded by a metal ring with a rope design etched on it.
