About this object
A rectangular frame made from gilded wood. It is designed in an Art Nouveau style, and contains a black and white photograph mounted on paperboard of Charles Rollin Post, ca. 1910, seated beside a table, with his right arm resting on the table, looking to the right of the camera. The frame has carved leaves in the corners, and there is a ridge around the frame which is now a reddish color. The original gilt has worn off. It stands on two bracket feet, also with the leaf design.
