About this object

Inside the box, lined in red velvet, are nine compartments, four of them with red velvet covers embroidered in silver gilt threads with floral motifs. This cover is a smaller rectangle. The velvet is stretched over a solid core. It is plain on the back and elaborately embroidered with flowers on the top.
