About this object

The compartment at the right has one large and three small sections, the former having a boule cover, is empty. The three small compartment were for the sandbox, an inkwell, a silver seal and an ivory jar. The seal has a wooden handle with the boule design. It attached to the silver seal which is channelled on the sides. The bottom is cut.
