About this object

The plates have a light blue border with acanthus leaves pointing towards thee center. In the center of the plate in a rectangle is a transfer picture after illustrations by C.D. Gibson's. The scene is of the garden of a convent. A nun sits on a bench beneath a tree with three children around her. To the far left is a group of priests.
