The plates have a light blue border with acanthus leaves pointing towards the center. In the center of the plate in a rectangle with a transfer picture after illustrations by Charles Dana Gibson's. The scene is of a dress ball. The Gibson girl walks towards the right with the train of her gown behind her. She carries a fan in her right hand. To the left are seven men dressed as Robin Hood, who are looking after her. The caption reads "She Goes to the Fancy Dress Ball as Juliet" This plate is #22 of a 24 set of plates based on C.D. Gibson's "The Widow and Her Friends."
