The ground is yellow, the center reserved in white and enhanced by leaf scrolls in gold, contains the crowned cipher LP (for Louis Philippe) in gold surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel and flanked by cupids-one seen from the back-and each holding a rose, the edge of the plate has a wavy vine with ivy leaves in gold against white.
