About this object

A replica of a French coin soldered with a loop and hanger for suspension. On one side, is a standing nude male winged figure, facing right. He is writing the word "CONSTITUTION" on a plaque resting on a pedestal. At the right is a cock, and at the left fasces with a hand. Around the rim on the front are the words "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE." The edge is toothed. Inscribed below "A.B Dupré". On the other side, in the center "50 FRANCS 1904" surrounded by an oak wreath, and the words "LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE" and the letter "A" below.
