About this object

The cake stand has three plates that are removable from the central section. There is a handle on the top and two lobed feet at the bottom. Each of the three plates is made in openwork with a central round solid section. The openwork design shows abstract angular flowers and leaves on scroll like stems. Around the edge of the plate and on the rim foot is a solid narrow border with flowers and leaves in low relief. The sides and handle of the stand are in similar style openwork while the supports for the plates are plain and wire like.
