About this object

Both the top and bottom are repoussé on a thin silver gilt foil applyed on a metal box with a rococo enamel cartouches. One on the cover depicts a scene with a building, a bridge and two swans in a pond; all in multicolored enamel on a white ground. Bottom cartouche depicts atributes of the arts entwined with ribbon and branches of leaves. Rococo border is attached with silver rivets. Insidethe box is inlaid with a silver repousse foil on the bottom. Lid is missing similar decoration.
