About this object

The tall vase is decorated in repousse with scrolls, cartouches and other ornamentation in the 18th century manner. It is set with ten silver schillings of Lubeck. The upper edge has srolls along it. There is a plain band next and the central body of the vase has curved lines running across it. The bottom has an elaborateleafy decoration. There is a pedestal foot that has the same scrolled edge as the top.
