About this object

The gold box is circular. On the lid in turquoise blue enamel surrounded by rose-cut diamonds in an oval medallion with the cipher of Catherine II in rose diamonds. Above it is the imperial crown. The borders are delicately engraved. Box is new, possibly with older medallion.
