About this object

Four limestone statues depicting satyrs, each playing a musical instrument. All four have curly hair and goats' hoofs. Figure plays the cymbals. All are seated on piles of rocks, which are attached to a stand which has a shell design carved upon it, and which curves outward at the bottom.
