This figurine, molded of dark purple bakelite, represents Han Xiangzi, one of the eight Daoist immortals, as an elderly man with a short moustache and beard, wearing long flowing robes with long sleeves tied by a belt but open so that his chest and stomach are bare. He holds a wine cup in his left hand and in his right hand was an flute (now lost). He stands on a carved wood base.
