About this object
The figurine is carved from white jade. At the back of the river boat stands a man operating the rudder. In front of him is a small cabin decorated in cross hatching with a dog at top. On the far side is a man drawing in a fishing net who is leaning over the side of the boat. On the near side is a man with a paddle. Between them is a large jar. On the prow of the boat is an anchor. The wooden base has four legs and is carved with waves.
