About this object

The frame is carved from green jade. The top edge is slightly curved, but the shape is rectangular. In each corner, there is an oval carved medallion in mottled green jade surrounded by a mount in chased gilt metal. At the top are carved two small birds and a pot of flowers. The rest of the frame is a design of leaves and vines. The frame contains a black and white photograph mounted on paper of Nina Rumbough in a wedding dress, ca. 1970.
