About this object
The frame is carved from jade. It is rectangular with a slightly curved top edge. The jade is pale green in color. It is carved with an openwork design of vines and flowers and there are two long tailed birds in the jade at top. The frame contains a black and white photograph with border of Augustus Riggs, ca. 1950, wearing a dark chalk-striped suit.
