About this object
The frame is a rectangular frame with a slightly arched top. The jade is carved in openwork with a vine and floral rinceau. The jade pieces are held together with metal pins that have a floral pressed decoration. The frame contains a color photograph of Adelaide Close Riggs, ca. 1960. She is seated and wears a lace-trimmed evening gown, a stole, a triple strand of pearls, pearl earrings, a diamond ring, and a gold and diamond bracelet. She looks towards the camera.
