About this object
The reticulated porcelain bottle is shaped like an ovate flattened flask. It is carved with figures in light relief. On the front are two women surrounded by a group of children. One woman is in the center and the other is to the right. To the left is a tall tree whose fronds curve over the scene. The children are to the front and back of the women and one is held by the central woman. The back also has two women, one in the center and the other to the left. They stand in front of a eall with small window openings. They are surrounded by children who are playing and are crawling up the right side. The bottle is painted in colors. Around the neck is a meander design in a rose color. The rounded cover is made of green jadeite.
