About this object

The bottle has a flattened, spade shape, and is purple in color. It is plain in the front and back, with the sides carved in relief. One side shows a small bird sitting at the bottom, looking up at a stork or flamingo that is carved on the right side. Surrounding the stork and along the lefft side are flowering trees and leaves. The rounded cover is made in green jade with a ring of silver at its base.
