Double portrait of Adelaide and Eleanor Close as children (miniature version of 52.20). They are shown full length, seated on a grassy hill, wearing pink dresses. There is a white longhaired dog seated at the lower left, and Adelaide holds a small rabbit. Eleanor is seated at the left and holds a small bunch of flowers in her lap. They have large pink bows in their hair, and the dresses are short sleeved with ruffled hems. They both wear pink shoes.
