Portrait of Mary Baker Eddy was painted as a result of Christy's healing from blindness. It was sold to B. Palmer Lewis, the Christian Science practitioner, on Oct. 15, 1942. The portrait was published as a frontispiece in "The Cross and the Crown," by Norman Beasley. It is a copy of an original Christy painting owned by The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, MA; it hangs in a meeting room of The Christian Science Board of Directors.
