There is a landscape setting with trees to the sides and a small hill in the back. A white longhaired dog is lying down at the lower left with paws in front. Eleanor is seated at the left, and holds a bunch of flowers in her lap. Adelaide is seated at the right, and holds a gray rabbit with her left hand. Both wear large pink bows in their hair. Their pink short-sleeved dresses have ruffled hems and they wear pink shoes to match.
