About this object
Tubular dress in light blue velvet with long, bell-shaped sleeves. The square-shaped bodice has a low scoop neckline with a lace inset. A slightly gathered skirt hangs from a 5 1/2-inch wide band at the dropped waistline. A horizontal, selt-fabric band is secured at the waist and tied at left hip. The dress is trimmed at edge of sleeve and hem with grey animal fur, probably squirrel.
