About this object
Caramel colored velvet, tubular day dress with hood and matching belt. A square, silk charmeuse lined hood is attached at the square neckline and closes at the left shoulder with two ties. The ends of the ties and the point of the hood are weighted. The garment is distinguished by a shaped yoke at front neck and dropped waist. The long sleeves, lined in silk charmese, are turned back to form a cuff. The slightly flared skirt has a half lining of sheer silk in the same color. Interior seems are bound, although a lenth of fabric has been removed from the side seam.
