About this object

Two single narrow leggons chaps of white silk velvet. The top edge is cut on the diagonal and decorated with a 1 ½ in. zig-zag design of small color beads. The outer most edge is trimmed with two rows of black, then six rows of white, four rows of green, ending in two rows of orange. Small triangle blue rings are sewn to the top most point of the zig-zag, where a gold metallic cord runs through the rings to draw the leggons close to the leg. A single belt loop is carried at the side seam. The bottom of the leggons is decorated with teal velvet and orange silk in a geometric pattern, embellished with small orange and white beads. A band of black velvet is at the lower most edge. An opening in the side seam is grommited and laced with cord. A small opening at the center front over the foor is decorated and closed in the same manner. One single rabbit fur ball is suspended from sututash and hangs free from the sideseam. The leggons are fully lined.
