About this object
This short, pale green, ready-to-wear coat is double breasted, closing on the left side with four buttons and bound buttonholes. The buttons are round metal with an incised, painted geometric design. Four matching buttons balance the opposite side. The center front seam is set off by decorative topstitching, and opens in an inverted box pleat at the hem. Full length sleeves are trimmed with a belt and button. White fur is applied to a flat cloth collar that secures tightly at center front with a covered metal hook and eye. A back belt completes the design. The garment is fully lined with crêpe acetate.
