The doilies are square in shape with rounded corners. The center is square Venetian needle lace in a design of a four petaled flower with bar fillings. This is surrounded by geometric filet insertions, cut to round off the corners. There is a needlelace arch edging all around. Three of the doilies have a machine insertion around the center motif. (1,2,4) 45.97.4 has a double machine insertion around the center motif. 45.97.3 has a needle lace insertion around the center motif.
