The dolls represent a standing peasant couple with arms linked. The woman wears a plain skirt and white blouse over which she wears a striped apron with a long sash and a kerchief on her head. A wisp of hair is visible beneath the kerchief. She wears laced straw shoes over linen leg coverings. Her face is painted with a smile and both eyes wide open.
