About this object

A burgandy and cream wool Paisley shawl. The center area of the shawl is a cream colored wool with Paisleys scrolled around the center border. The outer area is of five different colors: burgandy, green, blue, cream, and brown. The design elements combine the cypress motifs with botehs. There is a fringe made up of the warp threads at two ends of the shawl. This shawl had attributions to the couch in the downstairs library 33.56.
