About this object

A white linen bed set consisting of a sheet and three pillow cases. The major design elements are the white embroidered Davies coat of arms and self applique flowers in sprays that run above the crest and continue on both sides of the sheet and pillow cases. There is drawnwork in the center of the flowers. There is a 10 1/2 inch deep tape lace in a somewhat crude floral and scroll design. This lace has a needle lace ground. This set is #13 in the linen book. The pillow cases have an opening in the back that has 6 buttons that are evenly spaced across the opening. 45.683.2 is missing one of it's buttons.
