About this object

An oval yellow silk embroidered bedroom pillow. The silk backing is trimmed with a blue and yellow cording and braid. The top of the pillow is heavily embroidered with silk chenille in blue, yellow and green. The colors are very faded. The design in the center of the pillow is of two large mirror image chrysanthemums. Surrounding these flowers are similar small embroidered flowers with embroidered tendrils that twine toward the outer edges of the pillow.
