About this object

A pillow and case for a bedroom. The pillow is of pink satin and the case that covers it is of machine made silk lace. The center area of the case covering the pillow proper is of a machine mesh with three rows of embroidered satin stitch dots. The edging of the case is of two rows of lace. The inner row lace design is similar to the center of the case with mesh and satin stitch embroidered dots. The edge of this row is scalloped and edged with embroidered button hole stitch. The lace row under this first row is of machine twist mesh with a design of clouds in three rows. The first row closest to the pillow is of two clouds evenly spaced. Below these clouds is the next row of clouds that consist of a group of four evenly spaced. The last row on this mesh is clouds that scallop across the border edge of the lace. The back of the case has an opening with five evenly spaced button running along the closure.
