A patchwork quilt made up of multicolored silk and velvet strips. This quilt is designed in the "log cabin" pattern. The center of the squares if a fuschia silk surrounded by rectangular strips of blacks, pinks, greens and beiges. The backing of the quilt is silk. There is a paper label on the back of the quilt that reads "Quilt belongs to/ Mrs. Downs /Bridgeport /Conn/ presented by Mrs. Pricket" .
