About this object

A white linen oval tablecloth or centerpiece. The center is a piece of linen edged with two rows of circles which are continuations of bubbles blown by the fish located on the outer area. There are 10 fish blowing 4 bubbles that circle the center area. The fish are created in bobbin cloth work with a cordonnet. The background mesh surrounding the fish is Point de Paris bobbin lace. The outer edge of the piece creates 5 points with scallops in between. At each point is a fish and between the next point and fish is a wave pattern executed in cloth work.
